Wang Liwei, a member of the Fushun Mining Bureau General Hospital of CR Liaoning Healthcare Group, was honored as the national Advanced Individual in the fight against COVID-19 at the National CoVID-19 Recognition Conference at 10 am on September 8, 2020.

Wang Liwei is the deputy director of the first ward of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine from Fushun Mining Bureau General Hospital, Master of Medicine, associate chief physician. She is skilled in the operation of fiberoptic bronchoscope and the application of non-invasive ventilator. She is good at the diagnosis and treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, respiratory failure, severe pneumonia, bronchiectasis and other respiratory diseases. She was the first to carry out bronchoscopy in hospital, and had won many awards in hospital journals. Many of her papers had been published in national journals, and she had participated in the academic exchange of the annual meeting of Respiratory professionals in Fushun city for many times. She is the captain of the first medical team of Fushun Mining Bureau General Hospital to assist Hubei province.

When coVID-19 broke out, Wang Liwei actively participated in the battle and became one of the first medical teams to assist Hubei province. She faced risks bravely and actively fought against the epidemic, and treated 119 patients in Wuhan.

Every day, she is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of more than a dozen patients, writing medical records, doctors' orders and other work. One shift lasted 12-hours. Wang liwei stayed six hours in isolation and six hours in the office. It was only at the end of her shift that she could eat, drink and go to the bathroom.

Once, after hours of manual labor, she took a break in a locker and then went to work on the first batch patients. This narrow locker became her humble lounge, that thin and curled up figure became the most beautiful "sleeping position".

This honor is the affirmation of all medical workers of CR Healthcare, but also a great spur to us.
