Port of Dalian Hospital was founded in 1951, is a three-level general hospital. The hospital has a large rehabilitation center with perfect function and strong technical force in Dalian and southern Liaoning. The hospital is a teaching and research base for more than 10 universities, including Shenyang Medical College, Liaoning Medical College, Shenyang Sport University Medical College, Jinzhou Medical College, Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese medicine, Jiamusi Medical College, Dalian University of Technology University, Beijing Language University, Chengdu Institute of Physical Education and so on. The hospital and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute jointly set up a “Clinical transformation research and Development Center” to jointly promote the R & D and manufacturing of high-end rehabilitation medical equipment, clinical transformation, personnel training and the transformation of scientific research results.

The hospital has 600 beds and more than 400 employees. The hospital has 22 clinical departments and 11 medical technology, auxiliary departments, diagnosis and treatment of 27 subjects. The hospital has cardiopulmonary assessment and training system, robot walking training system, Upper Limb Robot, isokinetic test and training system, PCR laboratory, domestic leading hyperbaric oxygen group and the only hydrotherapy rehabilitation center in southern Liaoning.
