On August 6, 2020, CR Healthcare's Support Dalian inspection team successfully completed the emergency test and returned safely. They had been working in Dalian for two weeks.
Wang Yang and Zhang Zhaogan of General Hospital of Fushun Mining Bureau fought in the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University. As one of the 16 nucleic acid emergency testing teams in Liaoning Province, the two members with hardships and dangers, worked together with all the members, completed more than 600,000 samples in total, and achieved zero errors.
In the small and closed "laboratory", every specimen test is a great challenge to one's perseverance. We have to put on three layers of isolation protective clothing, as long as we move, we will be chest tightness, shortness of breath, and sweating, and less than half an hour, the clothes inside will be wet. "Wearing thick protective clothing, your sense of touch, your sense of vision, your sense of hearing, including your sense of smell will be all declined, so the task is much more difficult than usual," Wang said.
In such a state, Wang Yang and Zhang Zhaogan still have to complete the high-intensity detection work, work all day. They encouraged each other with words on their protective suits and glances after sweat. Wang Yang and Zhang Zhaogan maximized the daily detection quantity, and demonstrated the strength and responsibility of inspection doctors in Fushun Mining Bureau General Hospital with scientific and rigorous attitude and precise and accurate superb technology.
Dai Junfeng and Liu Jia of Benxi Iron and Steel General Hospital fought in the clinical laboratory of Dalian Central Hospital. Together with the Benxi support team and the PCR laboratory of Dalian Central Hospital, they successfully completed the detection task of 152,000 person-times.
As the only two men of Benxi support team, Dai Junfeng and Liu Jia took the initiative to shoulder the night task. At 2pm on July 25, Dai Junfeng and Liu Jia finished the equipment assembly and connection work and started their first night shift work at 6pm. They worked this shift without a break until eight o 'clock the next morning. The same went for the second night shift. When Dai Junfeng and Liu Jia were ready to go back to the hotel to catch up on sleep after the night shift in the morning, they received the notice that the cabin was installed, the training was arranged at afternoon, and the shift was scheduled to work in the cabin laboratory at 7 o 'clock that night. Only rested for a few hours, Dai Junfeng and Liu Jia would start to work.
Without stopping until the last moment. One day, with very few samples, the cabin closed. Dai Junfeng and Liu Jia, who were supposed to rest, went to the PCR laboratory of the Laboratory to take a shift. After the work was completed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Dai Junfeng and Liu Jia received a large number of specimens and the notice of emergency cabin opening. That night, Dai Junfeng and Liu Jia entered the cabin laboratory to work. Dai Junfeng and Liu Jia has always been on standby, and has been involved in the detection work until the last moment.
In their work in the cabin lab, Dai junfeng and Liu Jia always made as many samples test as possible in as short a time as possible. They had been praised by the central hospital laboratory colleagues "high efficiency, fast detection speed"!
Gao Xian and Ma Xiaoyu from Fuxin Mining General Hospital fought in Zhuanghe City Central hospital. During the 14 days and nights supporting Dalian, The Fuxin medical team completed 9,936 tubes of specimens with more than 40,000 pieces. Gao Xian and Ma Xiaoyu completed 3,247 tubes and 16,000 pieces of screening work.
The new environment, all English testing equipment, in the small closed "laboratory", every specimen test is a great challenge to "strength" and "perseverance". Gao Xian and Ma Xiaoyu's hard work was witnessed by the wet clothes under the heavy protective clothing and the scratches on their faces.
Gao Xian and Ma Xiaoyu once completed 736 tests in one shift, screening more than 3,500 people and working in the isolation capsule for a total of 18 hours.
Gao Xian and Ma Xiaoyu worked 12-18 hours a day, no one complained. As a result of wearing gloves for a long time, hands of Ma Xiaoyu were covered with herpes but she felt no regret. In her words, "I came here to work and I didn't care so much.”
Cong Changwei and Yang Shuping from Tieling Coal Mine General Hospital worked together Dalian Sixth People's Hospital, the Dalian Centralized Treatment Center for Novel Coronavirus Infection Pneumonia in Liaoning Province. In the past two weeks, they have cooperated with the laboratory of Dalian Sixth People's Hospital to test more than 60,000 nucleic acid samples, including samples from community, outpatient sampling sites, high-risk areas and isolated areas.
Dalian Sixth People's Hospital is the only hospital in Dalian to receive patients with confirmed COVID-19. Cong Changwei and Yang Shuping have heavy work tasks and face high risk. They overcame the heaviness and discomfort of negative pressure inside the cabin and carried out the detection work quickly and efficiently under three-level protection.
Cong Changwei and Yang Shuping declined the hospital's arrangement to stay in the hotel, and applied for temporary rest in the hospital's simple dormitory. They are ready to be available at any time, and put the time saved into the nucleic acid testing work. 14 days, dormitory, studio, two pionts a line, almost sleepless, they are either working or on the way to work.
In the middle of summer, they were immersed in three layers of protective clothing by sweat. Each shift lasted for 6 or 7 hours without eating or drinking. They were exhausted, but they always kept a positive and optimistic attitude and did the test work in an orderly way. Communist Party member Cong Changwei, who was appointed deputy leader of the tieling nucleic acid testing mobile team, said: "In the face of the major epidemic, our great party, our great motherland, and the protection of people's lives and health are at all costs! As a Chinese, I am deeply moved by this. As a medical examiner, I cherish the opportunity to serve my country and my people. The difficulties are temporary and we promise to complete our support mission successfully and get home safely!"
As a front-line medical examiner, CR Healthcare's support dalian inspection team completed the task with "high standards, high efficiency, high quality", showing superb professional skills, rigorous work style and selfless and fearless dedication spirit. CR healthcare's staff will continue to implement the original mission with practical actions, and build a solid line of defense to protect the lives and health of the people.
