On May 30 and 31, China Resources Chairman Fu Yuning led a team that included members of the strategy department, CR Healthcare and CR Network during a visit to Brigham Health’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, both Harvard Medical School teaching affiliates in Boston. During this visit, representatives from CR Healthcare, Partners HealthCare International (PHI), Brigham Health (BH), and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Chairman Fu witnessed the signing ceremony, which was held at the Harvard Club of Boston.
Building on the MOU, CR Healthcare and PHI-BH-SRH will continue discussions and negotiations toward a definitive agreement to create a joint steering committee and plan for a new hospital in Hangzhou. The parties will consider collaboration in creating centers of excellence, remote clinical collaboration, and development of a rehabilitation center, with education offered.
