On September 15, China Resources Healthcare Group Ltd. (CR Healthcare) formally released the 2016 CR Healthcare Corporate Social Responsibility Report. This was the fourth consecutive year that the Group publicized its performance in fulfilling corporate social responsibilities (CSRs) in an independent report. The report presents the Group’s major CSR moves in 2016 from such aspects as responding to state policies, providing high-quality services, managing the supply chain, protecting employees' rights and interests, ensuring production safety, building a harmonious society, protecting eco-environment, offering medical assistance and enhancing medical quality, etc.
In order to give full play to the role of the report in stakeholder communication and CSR performance monitoring and make it an effective tool to improve the Group's CSR management, CR Healthcare for the first time submitted a rating application to the Research Center for Corporate Social Responsibility, Economics Division of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in 2016. The Expert Committee evaluated the report content from the following 7 aspects: process, substantiality, completeness, balance, comparability, readability and innovativeness according to the Chinese Corporate Social Responsibility Report Preparation Guide (CASS-CSR 3.0) and Chinese Corporate Social Responsibility Report Rating Standard (2014). Finally the report was granted a 4.5-star rating, representing a leading CSR report.
