CR-JCI Hospital Management Institute Successfully Held the “2017 International Patient Safety Forum”

From April 28 to 29, CR-JCI Hospital Management Institute (hereinafter referred to as the “Institute”) held the “2017 International Patient Safety Forum” grandly beside the West Lake in Hangzhou, which was attended by more than 300 people.
Mr. He Xuan, Chairman of CR Healthcare, delivered an opening address on behalf of CR Healthcare and CR-JCI Hospital Management Institute. He noted that the forum themed on “Patient Safety” aims to be integrated with the objectives of international patient safety and new management trends related to patient safety, to seek for the optimal strategy for Chinese hospitals to improve patient safety, and assist senior managers and functional department heads of Chinese hospitals in broadening their international perspectives and strategic thinking on patient safety management and medical care quality improvement, thus developing them into the powerful founders and impellers of hospital quality management theorization.
The National Health and Family Planning Commission, Health and Family Planning Commission of Zhejiang Province, Xiamen City Health and Family Planning Commission, etc. shared their perspective strategies and actions for improving medical care quality management. Li Zhong, executive director of CR-JCI Hospital Management Institute, systematically expounded the connotations of quality and safety and the strategies of risk prevention. Mr. Chinhak Chun, a senior consultant of American JCI, interpreted in details the six international patient safety goals (IPSG) and best practices under the JCI standard, analyzed the patient safety concept advocated by the international community, so as to help the Chinese medical managers have an in-depth understanding of IPSG requirements, and shared best practices complying with the requirements. Liu Jilan, chief advisor and director of counseling in China of JCI / vice president of HIMSS, shared the global patient safety alliance strategy and international patient safety management trends as well as actual cases of many hospitals. Besides, presidents of the participating hospitals all shared their experience in improving patient safety, enhancing medical care quality and increasing patient satisfaction, etc. at the forum.
During the meeting, the Institute released the latest translated works: the sixth version of JCI Accreditation Standards for Hospital, Translated JCI Quality and Safety Series and so on.
This forum represents a key action taken by CR Healthcare to get involved in the reform of China's medical care quality, enhance China's medical care level and promote vigorous development of China's medical and health care industry. CR Healthcare will take a long-term vision and plan for the medical care cause from the perspective of social civilization according to the requirement of “Aiming for the Highest” put forward by Doctor Fu Yuning, Chairman of CR Group, earnestly shoulder the social responsibility as a state enterprise, continue to enhance medical service quality and patient safety management level and cultivate excellent hospital management talents with international medical management vision and domestic work experience on a large scale, and strive to make contributions to building the quality safety culture for medical institutions.
