The Health and Family Planning Commission of Kunming Municipality launched a third-party survey into the city’s healthcare apparatus from two perspectives: work style and satisfaction in 2016. This survey was mainly conducted at nine large-scale public hospitals in the city, by asking the patients who left those hospitals in 2015 and their family members or guardians about how they felt about the hospital environment, medical services, treatment process and effect, and other relevant aspects.

 
Kunming Children’s Hospital stood out among the surveyed units not only by the highest score in overall satisfaction but also with the first place on the rankings of such sub-items as hospital environment, staff’s service attitude, treatment process, and treatment effect. The winning of this honor attested the hospital’s improvement in service quality and patient’s sense of safety and also would enhance its core competitiveness in an all-round manner.

By seizing this survey as a great opportunity, the hospital would seek for further progress in healthcare quality and security and work hard to build itself a children medical center which is based in Kunming and extends reaches to South Asia, Southeast Asia and even the entire world.
