To discuss the operation current situation, and development trends of global and Chinese medical institutions and exchange best practices and effective experiences in high-end medical service, hospital informatization and intelligentization, green hospital development, hospital planning and design, and other aspects, the “2015 China Hospital Construction and Development Forum,” hosted by China Hospital Construction and Development Forum Organization Committee (GBE), was held in Shanghai Marriott Hotel Luwan from January 15 to 16, 2015. CR Healthcare Information Department General Manager Zhang Kun was invited to speak at the meeting on the theme of “Group Hospital Informatization Practice and Ideas.”
Kunming Children’s Hospital, as a typical post-investment management project of CR Healthcare, the CR Healthcare Information Team, and the relevant departments of Kunming Children’s Hospital will jointly promote its informatization works according to existing methods and steps. They will first develop informatization strategic planning, establish organizational safeguard mechanisms, learn management experience from advanced domestic hospitals, and prompt medical staff teams to achieve a high degree of common purpose in reform orientation. They will push informatization projects’ basic work under the leadership of the business department in coordination with the information department, help medical staff get to work quickly through comprehensive classroom instruction, first-hand experience, personal pack making, and examination, promote a new way of seeking medical care to patients via rolling screens, large screens, brochures, and other means in order to make the patients familiar with new processes. Kunming Children’s Hospital completed the implementation of its outpatient system and LIS in December 2013, completed the implementation of its in-patient system and EMR in February 2014, and put HRP Phase I into operation in April 2014. Kunming Children’s Hospital has made remarkable achievements in E-hospital work, mainly in the aspects of efficiency improvement, management promotion, cost reduction, and quality management refining.
During the meeting, Zhang Kun also introduced strategic orientation and information technology organization strategy in the CR Healthcare Group to all attendees, including quickly and systematically providing decision-making data and analysis on the Group's strategic development. Zhang Kun used IT to intensify various strategy management and control systems, showed how to quickly and systematically configure modularized operation and management system for new merger and acquisition projects, and taught how to reliably participate in and establish new business models following a change in business trends, as well as how to support relevant business development using the corresponding technologies.
The present industry experts agreed with CR Healthcare Group’s vision to build the health business “blueprint” by sharing its informatization beyond hospital walls and following the information technology industry trend. They hope to have an in-depth discussion with CR Healthcare on the further application of information technologies in the hospital’s informatization field, and plan to seek cooperation and development for future opportunities.
