On December 26, 2014, CR Healthcare Chairman He Xuan led a delegation to Huaibei City, Anhui Province to conduct talks with the leading group led by the chairman of Huaibei Mining Group. The two sides witnessed the signing of an agreement for a project assignment of Huaibei Miners’ General Hospital Corporation entered between Huaibei Mining Group and CR Healthcare; pursuant to the agreement, CR Healthcare will purchase all shares of the Huaibei Miners’ General Hospital Corporation held by Huaibei Mining Group.
Huaibei Miners’ General Hospital Corporation, honored as the “The star of north Anhui province, the pearl of the Coal Sea,” is the only cross-regional large hospital group in Huaibei City that operates in good condition. There are nearly 60 member units under its jurisdiction, including 16 branches (e.g. Huaibei Miners’ General Hospital, Huaibei Mental Hospital, Huaibei Tumor Hospital, etc.), 27 health stations, more than 10 community public health stations, and 3,000 beds; its service has covered Huaibei, Suzhou, Bozhou, Yongcheng, and other cities. Among these branches, Huaibei Miners’ General Hospital is the oldest and largest Grade III Class A general hospital in Huaibei City, incorporating medical treatment, teaching, research, prevention, healthcare, and recovery; the hospital has more than 1,500 beds.
After this acquisition, the number of beds in hospitals under CR Healthcare will surpass 7,000. The Huaibei Miners’ General Hospital Corporation’s mature, three-level medical coverage system can aggregate the regional core medical resources for CR Healthcare in order to realize regionalization strengthening, and can accumulate disease sources, and lay a solid foundation. Under Huaibei Miners’ General Hospital Corporation and CR Healthcare, the Mine Hospital of Xuzhou can achieve sharing and cooperation in business development, talent training, discipline construction, and other aspects.
