On April 18, 2013, a grand opening ceremony for “CR & WISCO Hospital Management Co., Ltd.,” established by our group and WISCO Joint Venture, was held in the WISCO Group’s headquarters. Leaders of CR Group attended the ceremony; persons in charge and representatives of the CR Electricity Company, CR Land, CR Gas, CR Pharma, and other profit centers also attended the event. The relevant government departments and provincial hospitals in Hubei, Wuhan, and Qingshan attended the ceremony and expressed their congratulations.

 The CR Healthcare leading group and representatives from functionary departments attended the ceremony. The Group CEO carried out a brief introduction on the cooperation between WISCO and CR Healthcare at the ceremony, and looked ahead towards the hospital’s future.

The WISCO General Hospital and WISCO Second Hospital, established in 1958 and 1982 respectively, have been incorporated into the joint venture to be a Grade III Class-A hospital and Grade III Class-B hospital, with a total of 1,900 beds. The two parties will build the hospital into a key hospital in Wuhan, a famous hospital in China, and a top-ranking general hospital world-wide by introducing a modern hospital management system and mechanisms, injecting development capital, improving management quality, and enhancing competitive strength.

The cooperation is a new breakthrough and a beneficial exploration of CR Healthcare in the field of medical reform. It will produce an important demonstration effect and far-reaching significance to current medical reforms, especially in the case of state-owned hospital reform.
